CFP Game: #9 Tennessee at #8 tOSU, Sat 12/21/24, Rocky Top Massacre 42-17

It's fun watching this one again. The first drive you can tell how tight the team is. Egbuka almost makes a one hand catch on the second play, but it's high and basically saves an interception. Next play, 3rd and 2, Tshabola gets beat bad, but the face mask gets called. New life at midfield.

Next run play gets stuffed, then a false start. Team is still playing super tight. Then a wheel route to Henderson, and the TD to Smith. A 1-2 combo and it's on. Next series is a 3 and out with the first cracked helmet, and you can see the confidence come back. The next series they're moving the ball, playing free. Got lucky with Judkins holding on to the bobble at the goal line, but they score next play and the rout is on.

With it being a night game it’s the perfect time to black out the crowd and get more energy that is more than normal.

We’ve lost a ton of football games in our regulars lately in big games. Maybe just do something different to win this first one.

Btw if we win it all we will have to potentially go through 6 of the other 11 participants (Penn State, Indiana, Tennessee, Oregon, Texas, and UGA). I also heard today that we’ll have to play Oregon on the west coast, Texas in Dallas and then UGA in Atlanta if we find a way to win out. That’s insane.
Still crazy we won it all

Yesterday for me. I think I've watched each of these games at least 5 times...so just starting!
I rewatched all of the games with my dad a couple weeks ago, quite enjoyable to watch knowing the outcome. I can't even rank the wins between Tennessee, Oregon, Texas and ND. I would be inclined to say Oregon in the Rose Bowl because it was revenge by blowout in the most iconic and classic bowl in Pasadena, but this one was pretty special to whip the arrogant Volunteers at the first home playoff game ever in Columbus. Wish I could've been in the stadium but man did it show up great under the lights on my TV.
