Central Ohio Job Market

Senior
I'm a recent OSU grad with a degree in Finance, and I've worked as a Financial Analyst for almost 2 years now at a major Logistics company in Westerville. I'm pretty disatisfied with my current position, and we're on a hiring freeze so a move internally just isn't in the cards. Therefore, I'm beginning to look for a new job and I would say I'm open to a variety of different positions. Real Estate is something I have an extreme interest in and I think I would be a great fit for a sales job.

What I'm getting at is this will be my first go around looking for a new job, and I would love to get some advice. What are the best routes to take? Is there anyone on here who may be looking to hire or know someone who is?

Thanks in advance.

Although you did not talk about the teaching job market, I know that it will be extremely difficult for education majors to find a job in Central Ohio this year. Columbus City is NOT hiring outside of the school district, which usually does not happen. Many first year teachers look at CCS for immediate work, and that will not be the case for most teachers this year.

Good luck to those looking for a job! My advise to any first year teachers would be to not turn down ANY job offers this spring/summer.
