I just got my first "real" job (post college). Customer Service Representative at Highlights here in Columbus. Temporary until I get into an police academy.

Sounds like the same route I took. I got my accounting degree then became a cop for 3 years.

Did you get in yet or a police officer now Mac?

Job market sucks right now. Tired of working retail with a degree.

Job market blows unless you are in healthcare/nursing now days. That's why I'm looking to go back to school for my graduate degree next spring. I don't have any debt now so I figure it's time to get started again.:tongue2:

No I haven't gotten into a department. I've taken a few police exams, and did well, but just missed the cutoff. I haven't taken an exam in a while (6 or so months). But I'm still looking.
