Celtics-Magic Second round series

They're right.

As far as the Rondo thing goes, that should have no bearing on what happens to Alston. What he did was stupid.

Suspending Rondo would've been a slap in the face to the Bulls. They deserved two shots and the ball on that foul - Rondo missing the next game would've been little consolation.

Last nights game proves that the Magic have no heart. I still would rather the Cavs play the Celtics, but the Magic will fold under the pressure if they do make it to the Eastern Finals. I can't stand the Celtics, but at least they are going to try to give you everything they have every night.

KG: Profiles in Courage

My favorite part is when he slaps Tim Duncan in the back of the head when he wasn't looking (wonder who got the best of that rivalry over the years?). The 'Melo-retreat from McDyess was pretty entertaining too. Or the Peeler Punch. Ah, screw it - it's tough to pick the best one.

 Gimme a fucking break. I mean seriously, there wasn't one thing on that hatermade video that was a big fucking deal. Not one. Shit like that has been done on every fucking basketball court in the world. Just like when fans want to get all fucking whiny when they see a guy in a football game take a swing here and there. It's grown ass men competing. Tempers flare, shit happens.

Let the hate flow.

it's good to see some fellow celtics haters out there! the cavs are my favorite team. i live in southern missouri but all my favorite teams come from ohio  dont ask me how that is. now that orlando is up 2-1 they pretty much have to win game 4 as well imo to win the series cause if boston wins game 4 they'll have momentum going back to boston where god knows they'll pull it out and then head back to orlando and finish off the demoralized magic. i wanted boston out in the first round and want orlando to murder them but now that you guys have the idea of a cleveland/boston conference final... it would be a perfect ending to see lebron take it to them and get revenge for last year. lebron and this teammates have worked their butts off for a title and they deserve one!

I seriously doubt you'll ever see a compilation video of on-court stupidity for Tim Duncan or Lebron James. Some guys are known to be classy and some guys, like Garnett for example, aren't. Just sayin'...

Tim Duncan is one of my favorite players. I know there's no way in hell him or 'Bron would do any of those things. I'm just saying that to put together an entire video of borderline silly shit to get on KG is stretching it. There are plenty of players that go way beyond anything in that video on a damn near nightly basis.

I'm not even trying to defend KG so much...I mean, I get that you guys don't like him and I do. I'm just saying that there was nothing in that video that makes me think he's a thug or a punk, to be honest. Just an emotional guy that let's his emotions get the best of him sometimes. Same can be said for probably half of all pro athletes. Just my opinion.

When we had the discussion before, I objected to calling KG a "thug." That word is used so often out of context for NBA players. I do, however, think someone of his talent and abilities should play with A LOT more class. Some players let their game talk and I respect those players far more than KG.

EDIT: As an added example, Kobe kept yelling so much shit the other night when he was torching Shane Battier, saying shit like "He can't guard me" over and over and over again. When Battier was asked about it on Around the Horn, he just shrugged his shoulders and admitted that there's no one that can really stop Kobe - that he just tries to make him take lower percentage shots, which gives his team a better chance to win. Shane Battier = Class.

Yeah, I shouldn't have used the word "thug" while discussing this with you. You have definitley not used that word.

I agree that KG isn't nearly as classy as others, that's not really up for debate.

While I do respect and appreciate the class shown by guys like Duncan, David Robinson, etc, etc...I guess I just like the guys that play with a different style. Sir Charles is my all time favorite basketball player, and while he wasn't "classy" by a long shot, he's nowhere near a Ron Artest, Dennis Rodman, or Lambier, imo. It's a fine line in my book. I prefer the players that walked it without stepping over it.
