Celtics-Cavs Second Round Series

I think Z must have broken his leg sometime after Game 3 because I haven't seen too much of them as of late.

It is very difficult to run a "pick and pop" when your pop guy is sitting on the bench. I know that he can't play the entire game but did he even play more than 1/2 of the game.

I don't even want to talk about free throws. I thought these guys got paid for what they are doing. I think most good high school teams could shoot free throws better than these guys.

I think Cleveland might win Game 6 but we lost 2 games in Boston that we could have won and I do not believe the Cavs will be able to win a Game 7 after losing the two games that they could have won.

The Associated Press

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP) ? Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson has separated his left shoulder and will miss Cleveland's Game 6 against the Boston Celtics.

Gibson, one of the Cavs' best perimeter shooters, left in pain early in the fourth quarter Wednesday night following a collision and did not return.
The team said an MRI revealed a first-degree separation and estimated he would miss one or two weeks.

You have no business winning any game in which you...
  • Miss a lot of free throws in the second half.
  • Only get aggressive play and a sense of urgency from one player in the second half (Delonte West).
  • Don't start your offense until there are only eight seconds left on the shot clock.
  • Can't find a way to use a 7'3" player.

LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers face elimination against Boston Celtics in NBA playoffs

Help! They need someone . . . just anybody
Friday, May 16, 2008Jodie Valade
Plain Dealer Reporter
According to the wisdom of LeBron James, the Cavaliers' Eastern Conference semifinals series against Boston, the one that features Game 6 tonight at The Q in a do-or-die contest for the Cavs, hasn't even begun.
Neither team has won away from the com forts of home, and James likes to re mind that "a series only starts when the home team loses."
Viewing the 3-2 series deficit to the Celtics with the insight of James, the Cavaliers need only a small surprise to continue preventing this series from starting today.

screw the bad feelings... Damon Jones is going to come up big tonight hitting 3 pointers.

I fully believe that Damon can nail a bunch of 3's the only problem is that he has no chance of staying with Rondo. maybe they can match him up with Gollum. We will need West to have a big game shooting to make up for Boobie being out. West is the only real PG on the floor tonight for the Cavs.

Boston is capable of winning tonight, but you have to doubt they can do it when looking at their road performances in the playoffs...

Hey Junkie, is there a story behind KG cursing himself down the court every time he scores? He's always mumbling back on defense "mother fucker (this)" or "mother fucker (that)". Gotta be something to that.
