CBS names All-Decade Team

How Reggie Bush isn't on there as a running back amazes me. He was the best college football running back I've seen in a long time. He actually wasn't that great of a returner so I'm not sure why they put him under special teams. The other returner besides Ginn should have been Desean Jackson. Leinart over Vince Young doesn't bother me much because Leinart was very good for three years while Young was great for one.

I'm not sure which list you're referring to, but Bush wasn't listed as a returner for SI. He was listed as "All-Purpose" - which is exactly how USC used him. Peterson & McFadden were better all-around RBs in my opinion. Bush was more versatile, and for some of the things he did at USC he had no peer. However, there were some other areas where he didn't bring as much to the table. That's how a tub of goo like LenDale White got carries, and that's also how Bush ended up on the sideline for what could've been the most important play of his career (4th & short late in the NC game vs. Texas)

I'm talking about the list from CBS that was posted by the thread starter. He is listed as a returner.

Gotcha.

Yeah, they got that one wrong. Wes Welker should be in that spot. I think it's a cop-out because they thought they'd take flak if they didn't have a guy like Reggie Bush on the list. SI had a better cop-out - it gives mention to Bush, who was the kind of player you have to mention when you talk about the 2000s - while acknowledging that there were other players who were better when you look strictly at the RB position.

Not that I'm an OL expert but other than Jake Long, the OL choices seem very questionable.

Clady being on that team is joke. Hard time taking seriously any OL list that leaves off all 4 of Robert Gallery, Joe Thomas, D'Brickshaw Ferguson, and Bryant McKinnie.

CFN's all-decade defensive and special teams.

Hawk and Laurinaitis both made 1st team LB, Nuge is the kicker.

Doss and Jenkins made 2nd and 3rd team, respectively among DBs.

BJ Sander got an honorable mention at punter.

Regarding Buckeyes, it's hard to believe that Ginn isn't among their 10 KR/PR guys.
