The Most Power-Drunk
Wolfe is a stud, hands down...could another RB accomplish against us what he did? No, I really don't believe there is another back (that we play) that has Wolfe's versatility of shiftiness, strength, speed, and agility. He's a threat to catch the ball out of the backfield, and he's a threat to go anywhere on the field once has the ball - not necessarily just where the play is called. We will face other talented backs, but none with the specific strengths of Wolfe.
CBF40 - nice review, but I would have to disagree with your assessment of the defense as a whole. I thought the d backs played excellent, especially considering their hands were tied due to playcalling and excessive substitution. The coaches were obviously more worried about keeping it close to the vest than they were about the game...in all honesty, I believe they stayed in the basic defense just to get film on a lot of these players. Nick Patterson, Homan, and Laurinatis in particular played very well, IMO. I was probably most impressed with the deference every defensive player showed Animal Jr. in the huddle.
