SKULL SESSION: OHIO STATE WAS THE NATION'S NO. 2 TEAM, WE'RE GONNA MISS JUSTIN FIELDS, AND SHAUN WADE COULD RETURN
SHAUN WADE BACK?
.

.
I'm going to be frank, Shaun Wade should under no circumstances enter the draft this year, especially if it's as a cornerback. He will be taken no sooner than the fourth round.
He should come back again and play safety – the position he played when he was one of the best and most versatile players in the country a year ago. Y'all notice the only play he made all game was a tackle for a loss on a running back? That's because he's a safety. And a damn good one.

Just sayin': Apparently it isn't a "done deal" yet that he is opting for the 2021 NFL draft.
I think that he can still make the 1st round and 2nd at worst. I'm sure NFL coaches see that he was playing out of position all year. 2019 showed what Wade can do when he's playing in the slot.Feel pretty bad for the guy--he went from opting out and, by all accounts, a sure-fire first round pick, to coming back to help his team win a NC, and somehow playing himself down into the third or fourth round. Hope I'm wrong here--maybe he blows up in pre-draft workouts and a team falls in love with him in the first round, like the Raiders with Arnette.
there have been worst 1st round picks...But who is wasting a 1st or early 2nd on a slot CB with question marks?
