Remember when we thought Texas recruiting might suffer after we booted Tim Beck?
Off the charts measurables, he’s just still a little raw in regards to technique. That said, he and Lejond give you two guys with insane athletic ability that Hafley and company can mold.
Love this DB class.

Ohio State or Penn State.
Let's see. Hasn't even visited Penn State yet (or least no visit is listed on 247), visited for the 76-5 demolition of Miami, and decommitted from OU three days after watching Ohio State totally dismantle Nebraska. I think I'd get the nanners warmed up...
247sports Longhorn insider with the CB to the good guys
He also lives within an hour of where Okudah and Browning are from, so he has some close TX ties already in the program
you guys sure do know how to warm a fella's heart. No confirmation yet, but it sounds like he will no longer make his PSU visit. Ellis, Wiltfong and most of the Texas guys have already put in their CB for Ohio State.
You're also forgetting about Mr. Cam Martinez at S as well(though I know hes listed as an ATH)Ohio State has three defensive back recruits in the 2020 class in Clark Phillips III, Lathan Ransom and Lejond Cavazos.
Phillips is listed as a cornerback, while Ransom and Cavazos are both listed as safeties by 247Sports, though it's expected Cavazos will play corner for the Buckeyes.

That's a pretty "solid" DB class. Rivals' rankings of Safety and CBs (note: Rivals only has three 5 stars guys total):
