Slow your roll for a minute. Why is it so hard to just wait until it plays itself out before developing such a strong opinion?

EDIT: It's just frustrating and embarrassing to see so many confident opinions being thrown out one way or another on a matter people know little-to-nothing about. It demeans the seriousness of the subject. Calm down.

Conley is afforded the presumption of innocence. But to make sweeping, absolute statements of innocence before any hard facts are available is silly.

At the very least, he's guilty of poor judgment. Like I said yesterday in another thread, these kids that have millions of dollars on the line need to learn to not put themselves in situations that could end poorly for them. Every single year stuff like this comes out, and kids continue to do this stupid shit.

After Elliot's situation last year (assuming it all went down as reported, obviously) with someone he knew, I'd say I'm a little disappointed in the decision making process that went into putting himself in this situation with a stranger.

Ultimately, we don't really know shit right now, and so we should withhold judgment of anyone (Gareon, potential victim, friends providings alibis) until we do.

I desperately hope that this is not true, solely because it means that a violent sexual assault didn't happen. The fact that an OSU football player may or may not be involved could barely be less relevant.

I don't get this in how many other college athletes screw things up for themselves.

It's simple really. Don't hook up with strange women, hang out with people you know, and more importantly stay at home.

When was the last time any of you figured out the solution for our countries debt or an alternative fuel solution past midnight while drinking and in public? Point being there's absolutely nothing good that can come about by being out late and not in a clear state of mind.

I'll wait to see if this is true but Conley put himself in this position innocent or not. God damn just stay home, have some friends over, watch a game or two and have some drinks. Why do pro athletes insist on going out? IMO for recognition which is not a good reason to be going out for.

Not many of us had multi-million dollar careers on the line. Shit happens. It's certainly unreasonable to ask them to become hermits...after all they are 21-22 year old kids. But they should absolutely guard who they associate with at a time when anybody could take advantage of their new status. Inviting a young woman that you do not know to your hotel room at 3 in the morning in what is obviously going to be a sexually charged atmosphere is just asking for trouble. It sucks, but it's the way it is.

And, you know, don't rape/sexually assault someone.
