CB Eli Apple (All B1G, National Champion, Los Angeles Chargers)

Too many of these young men have either lost their father figures or purposely cut them out. Nothing good ever happens after that, especially when the mother can't assume both roles. Hope he finds a way to pull his family back together and get back on track to a solid career

Annie's Twitter celebrity was always the ticking time bomb in the NY market, and that doesn't account for the fact Eli could actually play poorly for a four game stretch, which he did. He needs to go to a small market team.
Annie needs to just do her own thing in a different city. I cannot stand when I hear stories of parents (Gary, Apple and the most famous the Ball's) running their children's lives or becoming too involved. Bottom line is she is ruining her sons opportunity to continue his career as a NFL player and she will be to blame if it happens.

From what I understand she's been in media for a very long time so why not go to a different market then your son? I'd be fuming pissed if my mother purposely got a job in the city I just gained employment with when I finally had the opportunity to live alone.

Not just that, but got a job for the leading entertainment and sports programming network covering your field, to give highly opinionated perspectives on subjects including your field.

Exactly. What a joke.

I Can't stand parents of successful kids who just step in front of their spot light. Unbelievable because their kids have earned that spot light and here these no talent POS's are living it up

Hopefully I have the opportunity to show these idiots how it's supposed to be done one day.

If I read that article correctly, Annie and Eli share a condo as well?

Yeaaaaaah something tells me that Ma is a bit overbearing here and Eli needs to take a moment to grow into his own man.

Bout shit when I read that. I thought it was bad that they were in the same market and that’s she shows up to practices.

Dude needs to get his own place and get laid. Annie ain’t helping him become a man in any sense of the word.

That's what his half-brother Dane Blackson is quoted as saying; however, it also says: Blackson, 27, (and Devion, 24,) haven't spoken to Eli or Annie in months. So just maybe, he doesn't really know what Eli's current living arrangement are and/or not reporting it accurately.
