This would be fantastic if it comes to fruition. If anyone on the current roster decides to bolt because a player like this comes in, I will live with it. Hopefully everyone just stays put and competes, but regardless this would be a big addition. With our activity in the portal at DB and OL, I think perceived needs (by perceived I mean the fans) are turning out to be real needs to the coaching staff.

Would love to see this go down, I would feel a lot better at DB for next season with Carter and Davison, plus I seriously think CSH and Mathews are going to be ready to play this year if they put in the work (and believe they will). If that combination doesn't work out, we're looking for new coaches in the secondary. But not to count chickens too soon, hopefully there is a BOOM coming soon in this thread.

Along with the OL, CB is definitely a position of need. Hopefully the OL positions get "straighten out" this Spring; if not, there is still another transfer portal window this May:

The first window opened on the daunted eve of December 5th and will remain open until January 18th. The second window runs from May 1st to May 15th.

Welcome to the fam Davison! I was waiting to post a congrats until I watched some his highlights in HS and at Ole Miss. I thought OSU would lose him to Tennessee or scUM. But man, what A GET! Some were saying he could be 1 of the 2 best from the start of camp, I may have to agree! Kid is a stud, can cover and also hit like a truck! Walton has to be ecstatic with being able to add DI to the room
