1. It was 4th down and we would have got the ball in better field position had it just been incomplete.
2. Taking off your helmet cost another 15 yards.

However, who gives a shit; it had no effect on the game's outcome. Day wasn't going to try and score again; we were just going to run out the clock anyway.
