In my head, i pronounce it as .... Chim - Dee Chequa. Im curious as well as to how it is pronounced. Wow, that was jumped on like three times before i got to it. You guys are quick!

Watching the video showed me a few things. Along with his afterburners he can read the play quickly and react. Great instincts. On some of those plays, it seems he had a shot at a pick and just knocked it down. I wasn't watching down markers to see if he was making the right play on fourth down or not. Just seems he had pick chances he let go.

Seems to be a good pick up.

At this point, none of the major sites are reporting the verbal. I am suprised that this has not leaked out before now, since the article says he verbaled on Tuesday of this week.

I updated our database about 2 hours ago before I came into work, and I just now got an e-mail from Scouts announcing the verbal. Again we scoop the big boys! And we don't charge $44 either...

Yes it always seems BP beats all the major services to it. Good work on finding this one guys. I like Chekwa alot and he seems like a smart player with some good instincts.

Chimdi is by far the most intriguing pickup for us so far, seeing as he was under the radar as little as two weeks ago. He may just turn out to be one of the true "sleepers" (ala A.J. Hawk) of this class.
