I love the way recruiting always seems to be going in a set direction and then a new name crops up out of nowhere and surprises people.

Jim Tressel and staff have proven themselves to be excellent talent evaluators over the last five years. There always is somebody that the message boards hear about late in the process that then proves to be a great player. I'm supremely confident that this staff knows what they are looking for and that they will bring in the best possible players.

Youboty and Whitner will both be gone by the time he gets here anyways, regardless of whether they decide to leave early of not. Seems like it would be better if they stayed so the competition for Youboty's spot would be wide open instead of having a guy coming back with a year of experience (for him to get a chance to play early that is, not necessarily better for the team).

Oh, and welcome! It's always nice to get guys when you're not expecting it.
