Well, if he’s making his announcement while attending we might be in trouble. Assuming he’s not there because of the announcement, I’d lean toward counting that as another positive.

A lot of doom and gloom about this on MgoBlow. Mostly of the "The kid's dad is a huge Buckeye fan and he is announcing on his Dad's birthday, he gone" variety. Quite a bit of worry about their lack of CBs in this class also.

He made a HUGE (dare I say YUGE) leap this year. He is pretty highly rated, but probably not enough and Springfield plays some serious competition being D1 and making it to state finals. There is a reason ttun is making desperate recruiting pitches and throwing everything they have at landing him. It is not simply because he is an Ohio recruit, it is because both coaching staffs know how talented he really is.

Don't mistake that for giving any legitimacy to ttun, any team in the country would take his commitment in a heartbeat. But he is a true cover corner and you are 100% right...Mathews and CSH last year paired with Scott, West and Lockhart would be impossible to mess up with all that talent.
