Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

No doubt.

I guess we'll never know what was up with LeBron in game 2 (MVP hangover? Patron hangover?), but this game 3 performance has been a lot closer to his ability.

He can own these Celtics. He, and the team, just didn't want it for whatever reason in game 2.

28-8-4 is a damn good game. :wink2:

Can these f'n commentators quit commenting on when elbow-gate is or is not over. It's a day to day injury. Maybe LeBron's elbow feels good tonight...it certainly felt like [censored] in game 2. He wouldn't even dunk with his right arm....

Well, in the interview heading into halftime LeBron said something to the effect that at home the team can afford come out "laid back" while on the road you have to take it to them from the start.

Seeing the results so far, why not take it to them from the start at home too?

These guys are old and thin. Put it on 'em, and they'll fold like Paul Pierce after a twinge in his knee.

Definately like the pace the Cavs are playing at. I think a million people sat around wondering why the Cvas would engage in a half-court battle with the Celts when they're old as hell. Tonight they came out ready to shoot and push the pace. Shockingly, a nice adjustment. Obvious move to make, but still shocking.

I like LeBron on Rondo too. Not every possession because you don't want LeBron chasing him all night, but I'm glad he's taking the challenge and/or that adjustment got made. Mike Brown is pretty good when he has time off to adjust. Not so much in-game.

Cut the head (Rondo) and the body dies. :)

Edit- really, the whole Rondo strategy has been good. Moon and Parker have done some work on him too. I like getting length on him and messing up his passing lanes + forcing him to shoot.

I'm glad to see Mike Brown has thrown out the normal rotation to close this game. LeBron's on the floor to start the 4th with Andy, Mo, JJ & Parker. Keep your boot on their necks, Cavs. Don't let them get any momentum they can carry into Game 4.

Agreed.

I love that game 4 is Sunday at 3:30. That's about as fast of a turnaround as you'll get in the playoffs and I think that benefits the Cavs (short rest/old Celtics, momentum).
