We made Chicago's offense look like the Phoenix Suns. Thankfully Chicago can't play any defense either and we outscored them. You ABSOLUTELY cannot play a half-court game against Boston and give up over 100 points and expect to win. Either you dig in and play hard-nosed defense as well, or you push the ball and take advantgae of our athleticism. Tonight was a joke of an effort....

Hell we're down by 23 and this team is still stuck in a hold the ball pattern.

So, are the Cavs exposed or what? Is this just a bad game or are there bigger issues?

I hate to overreact, but the 'Cleveland' in me just tends to come out after crap like this.

Hard to believe there aren't bigger issues at this point, and it starts at the top with Mike Brown. Would suck to piss away a championship shot, but what else is new?

Worst part is game 3 isn't until Friday. Ugh, this isn't going to sit well...:(

We'll see how the Cavs respond in Game 3. I would expect a much more focused effort. If they come out lazy defensively Friday I'll probably turn off the game to save myself the agony.

I'm more pissed at the defensive effort tonight. The offense is what it is...it's been this way forever.

But you can't hang your hat on being a solid defensive team and let Boston shoot 55% from the field.

And our offense already has a million holes in it...when LeBron's arm hurts so bad he doesn't flush that last take but instead takes the contact and lays the ball on the ground, we're in trouble. And something is seriously wrong. LeBron douches that all over Perkins face 99% of the time.

I honestly am going to just chalk this up to a bad game on our part. It doesn't matter who's coaching tonight, cause when you play with this amount of effort it doesn't matter. A coach shouldn't have to motivate a team to play these piece of shit celtics in the fucking playoffs of a championship type season. I'm glad we don't play again until Friday. Let them sit on this for a few days and watch the film so they can see how lifeless they look.

and now we go on a run and pull to within 14 with 6-7minutes left. Still a chance with LBJ on the court...but i'm not betting on it.

It's hard to say they've been exposed. They were just extremely lax and lazy. They've definately given Boston a spark, as they will deservedly feel that they should be up 2-0. Teams like Boston, LA, San Antonio, hell even Chicago take their games up a notch in the playoffs. The big boys have been doing it year in and year out.

Never once can I say that I've seen the Cavs take their game to a place higher than before once they've got to the playoffs. It's almost as if they are casual fans who think that being the best team in the regular season coasts you to the finals. You can't just be what you've been all year, you have to be better. They, right now, don't have it.

Normally I would agree with the first part of your post, but Mike Brown NEVER makes any adjustments.

Rondo killed us tonight all night long, and we did not try anything different all night long.

OK, I lied. The Reds fucking blow and I can't really stay away from this.

It's insane that I'm kinda pissed off by this comeback attempt. You don't deserve to be in the game at the end by playing just six minutes of championship-level basketball.

Missing those last two 3s killed the momentum.
