Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Nice shooting thus far from the Cavs. Bit worried about being able to handle Gasol, Bynum, and/or Odom when two of those guys are on the court without Z. But, the Cavs are playing a very strong game thus far, given the fact that they are missing both Z and Delonte tonight.

selfish block by LeBron. He saw it coming as soon as Sasha crossed half-court and actually slowed down to let Sasha by him so he could smash the ball against the glass.

A simple pin or tap to a teammate would have been more effective. Ball blasts back out to top of key, ball is picked up and Sasha drains a 3 from the corner.

That sequence is now why the Cavs are down 1 instead of up 5 or 6.

Horrible finish to the quarter. Lebron needs to be more careful on the passes. Be interesting to see how they play here with him on the bench. We are definitely outmanned at the 4 and 5 without Z.

Lorenzen Wright didn't show you anything? I thought he looked great as Pau dismantled him....

Kobe got a touch fall off of Pavs, LeBron can't get shit at the rim.

I agree there have been some calls that I thought he should of got...Especially the one when Kobe hacked him on the hip, off arm, and his arm to get to the ball, after LBJ had beat him...

So far we are seeing a great game tho...

I'm more and more impressed with Bynum. Kid was a steal. Not sure how fundamental he was coming out of school, but you never see him with the ball low. Always up over his head, and he's mastered a little baby hook/flick jump shot over his defender.

Pavs is playing great tonight, which he usually does when he starts. I've always liked his game, hope he can keep it up.....
