Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

Whats everyone think about those new Uni's?

I don't understand why they are constantly coming up with alt colored Uni's.

Wine, Gold, Navy Blue, White, etc...I can live with.

But that color blue has nothing to do with our current color scheme, so why? I don't mind the wine/gold alt uni's they've worn on occasion this year, but having 12 different uni's is stupid. I'd say keep the 3 they've consistently worn the last few years(the whites, the wine's, and the navy blue) and then use this year's gold with wine lettering as your alt.

Hickson has played 5 games in which he got 17 or more minutes of pt. In those games he's averaging 10.5pts 5 reb and 1.5 blocks. He appears to be gaining confidence and it's showing in his offensive game. He's going to be a good pf in a couple years if not before.

While I love the chemistry of this team, there is one player I would take that may be available, won't cost much and would be a nice addition for the playoffs: Joe Smith.

I'd take him back, especially while Z is out although I'm happy that JJ is getting minutes.
I would also be for any trade involving Snow, Pavs, or Wally if it nets them a good SG. Pavs has been a total disapointment so far this season and it's probably time to move him on. I am much more afraid for the Cavs when you get past the first 3 guards than I am when you get past the first 3 bigs. A nice big SG would be helpfull either on the bench or as a starter.

Tomorrow night is a huge game...It isn't a make a break game, but it is a game where we need to go out and win, for the city, team, and show the league...And it will help for the standings as well...

I wouldn't say it's make or break time, but I would say it is put up or shut up time. The Cavs are 20-1 against sub .500 teams, while they are 8-5 against +.500 teams. The Celtics are slumping and not playing the same D that they were playing with to begin the season. I want to see Mo and LeBron GO OFF on the Celtics tomorrow (well, later tonight..) night!
