Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)
I could easily be wrong - I thought I heard the announcers mention something... either way - its hard to resist the nightlife in Miami on ANY night - Im guessing its even harder if you're a millionaire
You're probably right, but if you're going to have a party wouldn't you want to have it when you don't have to play a game the next night? Didn't any see Varsity Blues?

I'm pretty sure LeBron capitalizes on his celebrity in most cities. In Charlotte, they advertised his club party for two weeks prior to the game, and it was being held after the game. My guess is clubs pay him for an appearance fee, and they call it LeBron's party.....

They made a run but like Hawg said hey were just hitting all there 3's down the strech. Heat were 61% percent behind the arc.

I think the problem with the shooting down the stretch, with the Cavs at least, was they were getting a little over confident. With 2:30 left in the 3rd, they started making it look extremely too easy and pulled within 1 in the 4th. Then the shots started missing, and bad in some cases. Can't be too disappointed tonight... When LeBron was at the top of the key squaring off with D-Wade who thought James would never take a shot like that. That shot was too sweet.

Boston lost their 3rd straight game tonight, so the Cavs aren't losing ground by any means.

Now no Z for 3 to 4 weeks. That is going to suck for the Celtics game. At least the Bulls are usually the cure for whatever ails the Cavs scoring. 89 pts through 3 quarters. They really need Hickson to step up while Z is out. Someone needs to score from the 4 or 5. The only good thing about Z not playing is that the Cavs become more athletic. I'd still rather have a healthy Z.
Cavs should look to add one more big body before the deadline.

I love to see Noah get beat down. Love.
And Hughes go 1 for 9. Unless they can get a stud big I'd rather get a tall SG. If you add a guard Lebron can play more 4 to increase scoring with the bigs. If you add a big just to add a big they are still thin and short at guard. I would rather Hickson get more time.

Good point about Hickson. My only gripe about LBJ playing more 4 is that no matter where he is supposed to be, he will continue to float around the outside and bring the ball down the court. Need to keep a lineup out there that keeps a couple bigs near the basket. Not that LBJ can't rebound...
