That's where they sit after tonights game. It would get them home court in the first round, but would also mean a likely 2nd round matchup with the Celtics. At least they've made a good showing against Boston so far.

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
CLEVELAND -- The Cavaliers had a message for the NBA-leading Boston Celtics last night:
There is only one LeBron James.
James, who nearly posted a triple-double, led the Cavaliers to a 114-113 victory over the Celtics in Quicken Loans Arena. It was the second time this season Cleveland has defeated Boston, which has the league's best record at 36-9.
The Celtics were without 6-foot-11 power forward Kevin Garnett, who has an abdominal strain. He is one of Boston's Big Three, along with Ray Allen and Paul Pierce, who played and scored 24 and 19 points, respectively. But James was able to take advantage by cutting through the Celtics defense for 33 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.

CLEVELAND: The Cavaliers haven't made a big trade since Danny Ferry took over as general manager in 2005. But it isn't for lack of trying.
It might not be much of a consolation to fans anxious for upgrades, but according to several league sources, Ferry has been very active in recent weeks trying to put together a deal.
He made a failed pitch for Memphis Grizzlies forward Pau Gasol, who was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers this week, just as he made an offer for Kevin Garnett before he was moved to Boston last summer. He's also been in discussions with the Sacramento Kings about point guard Mike Bibby and with the New Jersey Nets about point guard Jason Kidd.
