Can The U and UF Sustain Success Simultaneuously?

Florida = 90K stadium + Academics + great alum base + strong conference + TV money.

Miami = someone else's 70K stadium + rich tradition of thugs and bling on sidelines + two guys willing to leave Dade county for away games + basketball conference.

I think the equation still favors the gators, but being football king in the ACC will be much, much easier than being football king of the SEC.

I think the shrewdest man in the world is the AD who put Miami in the Big East and then in the ACC.

Well put. I think Florida doesn't in a sense control their own destiniy. No matter how well they take care of business, they are going to find things much tougher with Saban at Alabama, plus the odd LSU, Auburn or Georgia making their 3-4 year runs, and even more so if Rural can get Tenn. back to where it was a decade ago.

Miami just needs to go back to locking down the Dade County hoods and pulling in the occasional "Miami Man" from outside the state in order to dominate the ACC.

They'll have at least one loss next year, considering they have to travel up to the Shoe!

Too bad it will still be warm when they come up

Can't wait to see the Canes in the 'shoe. It will be my first game as a student, and the funny thing is that I was born and raised in Miami. My father is a UM fan, and hates tOSU because of 2002 :P... Family rivalry next Fall...
