More support to the idea that Ohio State and scUM have "types" Ohio State players get paid (handsomely) and develop. scUM players take the big payday and mess around for a few years thinking they're gods gift to whatever position they're playin.

I think there is still a certain amount of jankyness to some of these "offers". We've read about schools already having issues with the NIL delivering on promises.

I think when we hear "some places offered twice as much" that part (not all ) of the decision is how solid is that offer. The fireworks dealer from TJ offers me twice as much as IBM to come run his business, I'm probably still taking the IBM offer if you know what I mean.
