Ohio State’s top quarterback target in the 2027 class has altered his visit plans. Five-star quarterback Brady Edmunds was originally scheduled to visit Columbus for the Buckeyes’ game against Nebraska in October, but instead, he’ll be at Ohio Stadium for next week’s game against the Iowa Hawkeyes, per 247Sports.

Edmunds released a top four earlier this month consisting of Ohio State, Texas, Penn State and Michigan, but the 6-foot-5, 200-pound signal-caller from California also plans on visiting UCLA this weekend.

The five-star Edmunds is considered the No. 10 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback in the 2027 class. He earned his OSU offer on June 6 following an impressive recruiting camp performance in front of Ryan Day and Chip Kelly. As a freshman, Edmunds threw for 2,691 yards and 24 touchdowns.

A commitment from a '27 prospect means he likes us the most (was that Tressel who said that? ), but it's definitely one I would love to see.

Per Chad Simmons, day one went great for Brady Edmunds yesterday. As one would expect seeing Will Howard drop 5 TDs.
Edmunds and his family will be in Columbus all day today touring the facilities, spending time with the coaches and in team meetings.

Love it! Get your ‘27 QB, and have him(if he has the personality for it) be the leader for the class, along with a local kid(to make visits to home game that much easier to host OOS recruits). It’s starting to look more and more like 2026 will have a more developmental in state QB, and that’s actually great in order to create some type of space between and Edmunds
