Ohio State extended its first offer to a prospect in that 2024 cycle on Monday night, as Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa confirmed with Eleven Warriors that he had been offered by the Buckeyes prior to making it public with a late-night tweet.
The Buckeyes are very familiar with the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco program, one of the top prep football programs not only in the state of California, but the entire country. Offensive lineman Wyatt Davis who has starred at Ohio State and will be a high selection the the NFL draft is from St. John Bosco as is current Ohio State redshirt freshman defensive back Kourt Williams.
And the Buckeyes have offered a scholarship to many other St. John Bosco players over the years including a great one from the class of 2022 they are recruiting, offensive lineman Earnest Greene who has told Bucknuts on numerous occasions of his interest in Ohio State.
They also have now offered a scholarship to a young St. John Bosco star, class of 2024 linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamo-Asa. Kyngstonn Viliamo-Asa posted the offer on his Twitter account late Monday night.
