2026 CA DL Khary Wilder is a Buckeye!!!

Yeah, but he's not big enough to play two positions on the OL at once.....seeing these pics, pnuts noted that his feet are a tad slow. Seems to be so in these frames. Anyone know what the going rate is for a slow-footed guard versus an LOT? Wonder what tOSU recruiting machine thinks now? Are we still looking for two more OTs? Or is Ojo a case where one bids up the price, and then lets the other take it?

Cody Bellaire explaining EDGE Khary Wilder's massive jump to #38 overall.

“Khary Wilder was a complete beast at the Rivals 5-Star event and was deservedly named our MVP for the event. His first step and punch was jaw-dropping. The power and burst off the line of scrimmage was able to consistently stun offensive linemen and get them off-balanced early. This allowed him to show off his hand swipe ability and understanding of leverage in order to consistently beat blockers to the quarterback.
And at 6-foot-4, nearly 260 pounds with tremendous length, Wilder has the versatility to play outside as a stout run defender or potentially kick inside as an interior defender as he continues to add mass and strength to his frame.”
We got a good one!

Good. Roll out the red carpet, play the trumpets, and have a DL coach in his ear, pointing out the DE play, and how he'd fit. Also that tOSU not afraid to play newbies in crucial times in a game. See Bo, CB, for examples. Probably more that I've missed....also point out he'd be going against one of the top OL in the nation on a daily basis......

Am still amazed/amused how the big name talent from last year (certainly am not knocking), is being upstaged by the self-proclaimed 'no names' on tOSU's DL, and the tremendous jump in production in the trenches. Once Eddrick comes around, we'll graduate another 4 DL to the pros? Was particularly impressed by the DL 'arm tackling' the Washington QB, and him stumbling backwards before falling another 7 yards (or so).....Thought the talking heads would focus on that a tad more than, 'he's strong'.

I think the nickname of "no names" is quite a misnomer. Because yes, OSU lost 2 former 5stars in Sawyer and JT, and a former top 150 player in Williams. Curry, Malone, Smith and MacDonald were all rated in the top 150 overall(in the 120s to be exact), and Kenyatta Jackson was a top 100 player overall. They just had to bide their time and be more consistent. Consistency keeps a lot of guys on the bench. So they may seem like "no names" because Sawyer, JT, Williams and Hamilton played so much, because they were the most consistent players. But the raw talent has always been there
