Too soon old, too late smart
Well, they're all 'Silver Bullets' to me, whatever their #'s or names. Actually, believe it was one of the players that used that nickname during an interview. Also note that most of the players are home-grown, as in from freshman recruiting to playing as a junior/senior. Couple of them are in the sophomore category, and watch to see the development. The comparison to last year's #1 D is kinda astounding/thrilling, as the statistics seem to favor the current version. The players are giving alot of credit to Patricia, who (to my mind's eye), has tweaked the D, to this degree. Dunno the subtleties of different looks, jumping in and out of coverages, to otherwise befuddle the opposing offenses. No one seems to be 'getting open', so the DBs are acting independent (?) of the front seven (or six) in coverage, and if K-mac has more sacks than JT or Jack, then woo-hoo! Finally, kinda amusing to see UCLA hang up 400+ against PSU, and listen to Knowles 'explain' why. Ultimately it's a 'Go Bucks' here, and keep it up. PS, anyone know why Eddrick is in the doghouse?
