Scout Evaluation said:Uzomah is has many of the tools it takes to be an elite quarterback. He has great size, he has great mobility, he is very smart, and he can make plays. As a junior he is still learning the position, improving his technique, and becoming the total QB. He needs to work throwing the ball with consistency and show more arm strength. I feel the arm is there, but he has to just let it go with confidence. - Chad Simmons
Scout Bio said:C.J. Uzomah finished his junior season with 153-of-257-completions for 1,723 yards, 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also ran the ball 109 times for 710 yards and 10 touchdowns. Uzomah says he can bench 285-pounds, squat 400 and has a 35-inch vertical jump.
Uzomah isn't sure what he'd like to major in but is considering psychology. He reports a 3.0 core GPA and is taking the SAT on March 13.
Uzomah: "I'm a leader as a quarterback and like to be encouraging to my team. I have great footwork, technique and a strong arm. Our head coach is also the quarterback coach and he really stresses technique.
"I also have the ability to get the ball out of my hands fast. I've got a pretty good deep ball, but I'm still working on my accuracy. I want to be more precise and place the ball exactly where it needs to be all the time. I'm pretty tall so I have the tendency to let the ball go high on me."
