Good lord, don't be a drama queen. Just making a statement that I would like to see him back and I do believe that his maturity level is not ready for the NBA and I would like to see him back as a Buckeye. :roll1:
I agree with that..

I don't agree with you saying someone needs to make sure he reads an article by some douchebag calling out Odens maturity. You sound alot like DrewZwick.. and drama queen?

Put it this way, they 'own' the Knicks pick, and if the Knicks come up in the Lottery at #1, I'm pretty sure that the Bulls will take it.

In the draft simulator on ESPN, the Knicks aren't even listed, but the Bulls are.

GO ISIAH THOMAS!

Re: Padraig post

Not what I was referring to. I understood the answer. Some people were posting regarding what I posted after that fact. Touchy all around I guess.

"Laughing" at people for 'being in the know' / knowing where & when Greg Oden is this weekend after you were the one that asked, "Anyone know why G.O. wasn't mentioned as attending the Spring Game"? (paraphrasing)

...then wondering why your name was being discussed regarding the type of response you gave to the info. provided, "Sheesh, some people hang on every detail of these guys lives."? By the way, (I think on OZone or Bucknuts) Coach Tressel was asked if Oden would be participating as a Spring Game Coach and he said no because Greg would be at a wedding this weekend...Sheesh Coach, stop digging in the kid's private life won't ya!

...then mocking my explanation as to why your response was being questioned? "I understood...Some people..."

No, I don't think you did/do understand. And judging by your last post it's funny to me that you're calling anyone "touchy".

EDIT

P.S. I apologize for not sticking to Greg Oden

It's a minor point, but a mature decision, an adult decision, is not based solely on what is good for oneself. My comment isn't specific to Greg Oden per se. But children make decisions, reasoned or not, based solely on the criterion of "what's best for me". Adults weigh additional factors.

I see your point. You are correct in that there are other factors invloved in this or any other decision. What I was trying to get across (unsuccesfully) that is Greg should do what is in his best interestes. His bests interests may include his family, fellow players, etc as well as himself. What Greg should not do is something because he feels pressured from those who have their own interests in mind (and not Greg's).

This looks promising......

"Renae Cook said she spoke with her son Wednesday night and that he said he had not yet decided what to do. The players have until April 29 to enter the draft and, if they do not sign with an agent, until June 18 to withdraw their names. The draft is June 28.

"I think the longer they wait, it looks better for Ohio State," Powell said. But Cook's mother said, "To me, it still could go either way."
