C Dallas Lauderdale (Maine Red Claws - NBA G-League)

Lauderdale is another Paul Millsap; he does what he needs to, to disrupt other teams? offense. At 6-foot-8, Lauderdale is no giant, but he is also over 260 pounds and can be intimidating in the middle.

That said, the Ohio State star?s wingspan is over 7-feet-6-inches. He?s also quick in the post, which is another Millsap--and Jazz big man?s--trait.

The question mark on Lauderdale is whether or not he can even play at the next level, let alone be drafted in June. His averages in points and rebounding at Ohio State (four and seven, respectively) are definitely not that of an NBA prospect.

Dallas in Canada

Ohio State forward/center Dallas Lauderdale (6-9, 260) will work out for the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.

The Solon High School product worked out for Utah recently. He has workouts scheduled with Washington and Chicago next week.

Lauderdale is not expected to be drafted, but could take the free-agent route.

Dallas Lauderdale, forward, Ohio State: The Raptors could hold workouts until doomsday and not find a jump shot funkier than the one put up by the wonderfully named Dallas Lauderdale.

Lauderdale, a six-foot-eight forward from Ohio State worked out for the Raptors on Tuesday. His shot was actually an anti-jumper as he hangs on to the ball as he levitates and releases the ball when his heels hit the ground. Lauderdale scored a meager 4.2 points per game, but has long been a fixture on the Buckeyes based on his shot-blocking abilities.

Dallas Lauderdale Latest Rookie To Take His Talents To The Euroleague

Dallas Lauderdale wasn't the best player in college basketball this past season, but his skillset did make him one of my favorites to watch over the past few seasons. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to watch the former Ohio State Buckeyes big man during the upcoming season because "Fort" has decided to take his talents to the Euroleague.

Lauderdale, a 6-foot-8 forward, has signed with PGE Turow in Poland for their upcoming Euroleague Qualifying Rounds, according the league's website.

It isn't a surprise move that Lauderdale has decided to take a job in the second best league in the world rather than wait out the NBA lockout for a possible training camp invite, but it is a bit disappointing that nearly every rookie will begin next season overseas rather than in an America.

Star-divide

Lauderdale averaged an unimpressive 4.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in just 16 minutes for the Buckeyes as a senior starter, but his impact was obviously much greater as his contract with the Euroleague and invitation to the annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament prove.

Lauderdale's first match-up in Europe will be against BC Khimki and Timofey Mozgov. Man, Euroleague Pass might have to be a thing this year.

Lauderdale & Turow are currently on top of the Polish League Standings with a 3-0 record. In addition to play in Poland, Dallas & company will also compete in the Eurocup (Europe's second best super-league) starting in November.
