I guess it's just me, but I enjoy the season as a whole. The game is simply the peak of the week, but I enjoy the whole process.

I will get that way once it starts, but I'm just itching in anticipation for that first kickoff. Hopefully Thursday's games will take care of that, because it means it's officially on.

The closes thing I have to my high school being relevant in football is anytime I watch Remember the Titans (and they lose in the movie as well)

And my son is the class of 2026 so I have sometime to get more involved in Ohio football.

I believe Mowins is married (traditionally), and I think Ward no longer calls college football games.

Mowins/Ward are weak broadcasters so it's possible ESPN doesn't want to help the BIG in any way. But, this is a weak opener.

Usually they have a board somewhere where they extol the virtues of Player X who is someone like Ohio State has never seen before. The only one I remember even close to living up to the fan hype is Garrett Wolfe.

Urban is already talking up Buffalo LB Khalil Mack. McShay gives Mack a mid-second round grade. Given the absence of any conversation with Buffalo/MAC fans, sounds like Mack is by far their best player.

Been recreating my favorite moments from last year at work this week. Anyone else who works in an office environment do the Braxton goal line move at PSU while walking down the hallway? So far my favorite has been when the secretary unknowingly did a perfect Cal QB impersonation and I obliged her to play the part of Shazier.

Sure wish the OSU radio network would sync with the TV broadcast. The radio is 4-7 sec ahead of the TV.

I believe there's some website you can use to fix that issue. I've never used it though.
