Buffalo Bills (official thread)

In retrospect, I'd wager all 6 of those teams wish they'd taken Josh Allen. But, at the time he was considered a risky pick because he didn't put up great numbers in college and didn't exactly fave stiff competition at Wyoming. He was a guy picked almost solely on potential. That's usually a coinflip, but the Bills struck gold.

Yeah I agree. NFL draft picks are a "crap shoot". Some players are more likely than others to pan out; however, you can never be 100% certain who is going to be a "boom" or a "bust".

2017 NFL Draft

1 Cleveland Browns Myles Garrett DE
2 Chicago Bears Mitchell Trubisky QB
3 San Francisco 49ers Solomon Thomas DE
4 Jacksonville Jaguars Leonard Fournette RB
5 Tennessee Titans Corey Davis WR
6 New York Jets Jamal Adams S
7 Los Angeles Chargers Mike Williams WR
8 Carolina Panthers Christian McCaffrey RB
9 Cincinnati Bengals John Ross WR
10 Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes QB

In retrospect I'd say all nine teams (even the Browns who got a real good DE) above Kansas City wished they had taken Mahomes too:
