Tremaine Edmunds #49 of the Bills collides with teammate Dane Jackson #30 after a play against Treylon Burks #16 of the Titans during the second quarter of the game at Highmark Stadium on September 19, 2022.

Bills cornerback Dane Jackson has been released from the hospital after he suffered a scary neck injury in Monday’s game against the Titans.

The Bills said in a statement on Tuesday that Jackson, who exited the field in an ambulance, underwent various tests at ECMC Hospital in Buffalo that determined there was no major injury to his neck or spinal cord.

Jackson had full movement in his extremities as he was transported to the hospital, where he underwent evaluation, a CT scan and X-rays.

The Bills said Jackson will undergo further evaluation on Tuesday. The 25-year-old was able to walk out of the hospital and is resting at home, according NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

This is extremely good news. The injury (see video ) sure looked like it could have been much worse.

Buffalo Bills' Bobby Hart suspended one game after hitting Tennessee Titans coach after game

The NFL on Tuesday suspended Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Bobby Hart for one game after the league said he took a swing at a Titans player following Monday night's game but instead hit a Tennessee coach.

Per the league's release announcing the suspension for violating unsportsmanlike conduct rules, Hart's actions came at the conclusion of the Bills' 41-7 victory. Neither the Titans player whom Hart took a swing at nor the coach hit by Hart were identified by the NFL.

In a letter to Hart, NFL vice president of football operations Jon Runyan wrote, "As both teams were heading to the tunnel, you walked directly across the field to seek out your opponent. You approached him near the end zone and a coach had to hold you back as others shook hands.

"Once you and your opponent were in the end zone near the tunnel, you confronted him and immediately swung at him with a closed fist, striking the head of a Tennessee coach. Your aggressive conduct could have caused serious injury and clearly does not reflect the high standards of sportsmanship expected of a professional."

Hart, who played in three games for the Titans last season, is a backup offensive lineman for the Bills. He re-signed with the team on a one-year deal in April. He played 25% of the team's offensive snaps vs. the Titans, largely in the fourth quarter once the game was out of reach, including the final kneel-down. He also played seven special teams snaps.

Just sayin': While a team probably wouldn't cut one of their star players, fringe players are another story. Guys like Bobby Hart who does something stupid and embarrasses the team are on thin ice. Needles to say, once the team decides that a player is more trouble than he is worth the team won't hesitate in releasing him and there will be dozens of unemployed OL begging to take his place too.

Bills break ground on new $1.54 billion stadium

The signs that something big is coming have been there. Across Abbott Road from the Buffalo Bills' facility and Highmark Stadium, dirt is being moved and construction vehicles are in full work mode.

With years put into coming to an agreement with New York state and Erie County on a deal, there was no time to waste on beginning construction on the new stadium grounds in time for the 2026 season.

On Monday morning, however, those came to a pause with gold shovels, a stage and all the proper tools for a celebration to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Bills stadium. The agreements include a 30-year lease and a non-relocation agreement that makes it difficult for the team to leave Buffalo, the second-smallest NFL market (larger than only Green Bay).

The new stadium will officially also be called Highmark Stadium, as announced by Terry Pegula, thanks to a new naming rights agreement with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York to extend the partnership with the Bills.

When the deal was initially reached in March 2022, the combined $850 million in public funding for the initially $1.4 billion outdoor stadium ($600 million from New York state and $250 million from Erie County) was the largest public commitment for an NFL stadium. That has since been surpassed with the Tennessee Titans receiving more than $1.2 billion in public funding for their future enclosed stadium.

The cost for the new Bills stadium, which is expected to seat about 63,000, is now $1.54 billion, with the Pegulas responsible for any additional costs. The stadium will not have a dome, but it will include stacked seating and a canopy overhang to protect fans from the elements. It will also feature a natural grass field, a change from the turf field at the current stadium.

the unnamed fan is a 29-year-old male, who jumped over a fence by the stadium construction site on the west side of Highmark Stadium. He fell 30-40 feet and sustained only a cut on his forehead. But wait, there's more.

The fan was naked and covered in human excrement he had found in an on-site porta potty, a double whammy. As you can probably assume, he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, a combo of LSD, cocaine, and marijuana.

Once the rescue team arrived on scene, it took approximately 20 minutes to get the fan out of the hole and to Erie County Medical Center, where he was treated for a short time before being transferred to Buffalo General. There was no mention of how long the man was trapped in the hole, although the thread does state that the first call concerning the man came in at 12:18 p.m. local time.

The man is still being evaluated and has been issued an appearance ticket in the Town of Orchard Park for criminal trespass.

The construction for the Bills' new stadium, named New Highmark Stadium, is happening west of current Highmark Stadium, just across Abbott Road and just south of Community College Drive, in what used to be called Parking Lot 3. We are unsure where the hole in question is exactly in that lot.

Unfortunately for the man in question, he did not get to witness his Bills dominate the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10
