Yesterday I bought a pair of tennis shoes, I get home and there are two different shoes in the box. I call the manager from my house (the store is 35 minutes away). I tell the manager that I live an hour away and that i'll need some gas compensation to have to take my time and with gas prices to return the shoe. He says no and appologizes.
I tell the manager, well I guess the two shoes look pretty good together, so i'll just wear them unmatching. He says you don't want to do that. I tell him well is there anything that could be done with the shoe? He says no and that it was a mistake that he is sorry for. I just say, well thats no big deal, I'm just going to keep it the way it is, it's no big deal, thank you.
He tells me how they will be short out of a shoe if I don't come to exchange it, so i appologized and let him know maybe someone else will want unmatching shoes and thanked him for his time and hung up.
It appears as if we are both going to lose this battle, any advice, I want some free stuff. Whats the next move?
