Buckeyes cheated at NC State?

The false starts and stuff were caused by the fact that Ohio State pays someone in the know to teach their players. Learning anything at all is still foriegn in the ACC. We confused them by knowing the rules and not hinging our entire season on one game.

anyone see the aj hwak int, that was for sure a pick didnt get called that way, this is another case of crazy southerners doing there thing. they should learn that we run clean programs up here and the conference would never stand for that

True story.

2002 M!ch!gan game. I'm sitting in my customary front row seat in the south stands. The officials come running out on the field for pregame. they put their stuff behind the visiting bench. The back judge's black leather bag had a big M!ch!gan logo on it. If that's not a bias, I don't know what is.
i tell this to people all the time and no one believed me

he was paid by OSU to coordinate officials being at our practices. he coaches our team on what is a penalty and what isnt.

edit: COACHES is the wrong word. he will let them know what is a penalty and what isnt when something occurs. hes basically paid for his time.

I have often wondered what exactly tOSU football program has done to the plain dealer. All of their writers go after the Buckeyes with a vengence. Bill Livingston attacks Tressel at every opportunity.

Roger Brown is a journalist in only the loosest sense of the word. Everything he writes is based on informatiom from "those that would know" or "someone close to the team". The next source he names will be his first. And he attacks tOSU all the time.

But the worst is probably Buckeye beat writer Bruce Hooley. I'm guessing he is a frustrated wannabe athlete. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if he is that ass on the Purdue board who goes by the name TrevAlberts. Hooley was back on the story about tOSU giving credits for playing football again. As if that is some big expose. The writing is so slanted and biased it is sick. Having Hooley cover the Buckeyes is like having Dan Rather cover the Bush campaign.

I was going to keep this quiet, but since it's already out....the ref had voodoo dolls of several NCSU players. He poked them with a needle at critical points in the play to cause 5 turnovers and 14 penalties for 100+ yards. Amato's team is actually extremely well-disciplined.

We should all be ashamed.

Brown is such a wannabe that it's sickening. He exists here in NEO in the shadow of legendary "In The Know" reporter Hal Lebowitz who reports stories based on info from very credible sources. Hal is about 138 years old and the people in the sports community like him, respect him, and trust him. Brown just tries to stir up shit to make a name for himself.

I do have to give the moron a 'pat on the back" for the nice little bit that he did on Jason Short. Jason is a product of my High School (Painesville Riverside) and the only player in the history of the school to make it all the way to the NFL. He is a 26 year old rookie. Jason was a very good but not great player in High School. Was All-Conference and County as a running back, but no State Honors. The kid got a scholarship to Eastern Michigan and took the bull by the horns. It took him 4 years to pay his dues but he finally made it. He's a tough kid and loves to mix it up. He basically made the Eagles roster by playing tenacious special teams. The next time you watch the Eagles play, watch for #52 on the kickoff teams. I'll guarantee you that he puts a "knock" on somebody. Congrats and best of luck , Jason!

Yeah Mili, I thought it was actually Maryland in the commercials.

Look, even Knockers McSqueek ws up front enough to say that NCSt lost the game, we did enough to win it, and that was that. I believe there are horrible officials, and that there might even be one or two on the take, as much or more than the next guy, but the officiating was horrible in the same game last season, and those were ACC refs. Unless Geiger is blowing the entire athletic budget paying off officials from every conference, I don't see this being relevant to anything. Most officials aren't crooked...they're just incompetent, and any Big 10 fan will tell you it's been horrible for years and decades.
