Having added Pat Williams (dt), Fred Smoot (cb), Darren Sharper (s) and Napoleon Harris (lb) in the offseason.....and Cedric Benson (rb) earlier in the draft....

The Minnysoda Vikings go offense again and select Roddy White, WR, Alabama-Birmingham
He is a major vertical threat, with great speed and good playmaking skills down the field. White impressed a lot of people while showing off his skills at the combine and Senior Bowl.

Nate Burleson emerged as a great threat last year and Jermaine Wiggins (te) caught 71 balls last year....While White may not be the next Cris Carter, he is the deep threat that completes the Vikings offense.

Great qb, great rb, good line and now good receiving corps...

Piney....this is part of why I traded up to #2....we could have stayed seven and maybe gotten Mike Williams, but what value at RB would have still been available here...
We felt the combination of Benson/White is much better than a Williams/Fason duo.....We were going rb and wr with our two picks in the first round....

I think Benson and White fill two major holes on the offensive side of the ball for the Vikings. I still could see them going after a rush end to play opposite Udeze later in the draft.

I like your thinking Buckeye Maniac with St. Louis taking a QB, but I think you could of easily got Campbell in the 2nd round or possibly the 3rd. Although, his draft status is soaring, I really do not think it was soaring into the 1st round.
