Coach Green didn't think he would be put in this predicament. The Cardinals do need help in the secondary but were more sold on Rolle than Jones. The Cardinals select Alex Smith - UTAH- QB. Warner has a one year contract, which should give Smith a good year under Denny Green and Warner. Although we have a couple areas to fill, we picked up Travis Henry and have an extra third round pick in a deep middle draft. Smith would be a mistake to pass on.

note: Coach Green hopes he didn't pass on another Randy Moss in Mike Willams, but the Cards are stacked at WR.

mcnair is still there and tenn is high on their backup billy voleck, they arent worried about the qb position. now losing both starting cb's is a bit more of a concern. just basic research.
