THE SCARLET TEAM, LOSERS OF THE 2016 OHIO STATE SPRING GAME, MULCHES BUCKEYE GROVE
With their quarterback J.T. Barrett leading the way, the Scarlet team – which lost 28-17 to the Joe Burrow led Gray squad – refreshed the hallowed grounds of Buckeye Grove Friday morning with a good bit of the 100 cubic yards of mulch bought by the university.
Senior Tackle
A last practice of the year tradition since 1913 where the seniors hit the blocking sled one final time. For many years it was held following the last practice prior to the season finale with Michigan. But depending upon the Buckeyes' bowl obligation, it has sometimes been moved to the last home practice before the team departs for its bowl obligation.

It may be Thanksgiving, but the Ohio State football team can hardly afford a day off. Only two days remain before the Buckeyes’ No. 2 vs. No. 3 showdown with Michigan.
Following Ohio State’s Thursday morning practice, however, there was some room for sentimentality.
On Saturday, the Buckeyes’ seniors will be playing inside of Ohio Stadium for the final times in their college careers. That means it’s time for “Senior Tackle,” in which the Buckeyes seniors tackle the blocking sled for one final time.
