Buckeye Traditions (Merged)

You posted the same picture, with a link to a YouTube that told the story, in July, 2020 (still on this same page).

Somebody does this every year:

1. SWEET HOME ALABAMA — ALABAMA.....

2. JUMP AROUND — WISCONSIN.....OK it's cool...

3. DOTTING THE I — OHIO STATE

Ohio State boasts one of the more iconic marching bands in the country, and its pregame traditions are among the best of them out there. Among those traditions is the dotting of the I by the band. In the pregame, the band spells out, “Ohio,” in script letters and the drum major then becomes the dot on the letter I. It is a big honor for those in the band and something that Ohio State fans love to watch unfold in front of them.

Just sayin': I really think the Army/Navy game entrance of the cadets is #1 and Iowa's wave to the children in the hospital at the end of the 1st quarter is #2. Dotting the "I" comes in at #3.

The coolest traditions for all 18 Big Ten teams, from the Hawkeye Wave to the motorcycling Duck

Ohio State Buckeyes

Covering 'M' on campus before The Game against Michigan

There is not a rivalry filled with more hatred in college football than Michigan and Ohio State. In anticipation for "The Game," the Buckeye students meticulously put an 'X' with red tape over every 'M' on campus. From street signs, to building markers and everything in between, there is not a 'M' left uncovered. Even the City of Columbus and John Glenn International Airport gets in on the rivalry during 'Beat Michigan' week.
