if Lydell got between 800-1000 carries this year

800-1,000 carries? Is this a typo? Or are you pulling our collective legs? If someone lugs it 30 times a game (a very high average), he would get only 360 carries in a season.

800-1000 carries for flydel would have resulted in at least 100 fumbles......there is no way a team can overcome that......

10 fumbles a game is just too much to ask of the defense......

I see you are of the same thought as I am. The only thing nice about Lydell's senior year is that it was his senior year...

I saw him play for 4 years. I hope he graduates, but that's immaterial to his football future.

As it turns out, the leading rusher for OSU this season was Pittman. His total yards? ...... drum roll please...............378!

Janowicz rushed for 376 in 1951 and Ferguson lead the team with 371 in 1959.

Pittman's in good company, even if it was the worst year for an OSU back in 45 years.

I'm thinking of heading back to Columbus for graduation this year ...so I can see Lydell graduate with my own eyes. You can't be too careful.

I'm going to be there just to see if Lydell fumbles his diploma.

Troy Smith has put himself in a spot to lead the team in rushing, despite only playing significant in 6 games this year. He's at 339 right now, so don't count him out.
