Buckeye Man and Buck-I-Guy??

Because if you don't attend college you can only work at Walmart?
My girlfriend got her bachelor's from tOSU last October. She has a salaried position. I make more than her.

I assumed he was saying b/c you'd need a job to help. And generally all you'll find around most college towns is min wage shit like Walmart.

That said, Walmart might get you $7k/yr ... so...

Additionally, there are plenty of college grads out there with 60k+ of student loan debt living in their parents' basement delivering pizza.

The idea that a 4 year college degree is the only way to lead a successful life has swung way too far in one direction; HVAC, plumbing, welding amongst other skills will put you in a way better position than some bs arts degree in poli sci, psychology, literature or whatever else.

Kids who don't know that are getting really bad advice.

(Online colleges seem like a major scam too but I don't know much about them. Pay a ton of money for what is the equivalent of watching educational YouTube videos you could do for free? Do employers really value that? It seems unlikely to me.)

Back to the topic at hand, still douches.

Hey! :sad2:

Definitely true, though. That's why I'm back for a second degree.

I saw one of them standing on the corner in Ann Arbor outside the stadium. I totally ignored him along with everyone else outside of one guy who said hi and kept walking.

Hopefully the word continues to spread that these guys are complete attention whore douchebags and they fade into obscurity.

I hate that the TV networks use these jack offs in game promotions and show them on TV during games. They do NOT represent our university.

I have a poli sci degree myself and went to grad school because what the hell do you do with a poli sci degree.
I was planning on going to law school, but right when I graduated in 2011, all I was hearing was that at the time it was all but impossible to find a job as a lawyer unless you went to an ivy and graduated top of the class. So I decided against going $100,000 in debt and worked around for a few years before coming back to OSU beginning of '15 to get a science secondary education degree. I had always had teaching as a career in the back of my mind, so when my first degree turned out to be doing little to nothing for me, I jumped at the chance to change course.

Arts degree is better than Poli-sci:

Edit:I hate you all for making me find this pic. May God have mercy on your soul.

Well, fwiw, given all these options... You're making a better choice than people I see who go to tier 4 law schools, spending way too much money and end up miserable with a shit job in corporate compliance, and are bitter because they think they're under employed, when really, they're just over educated.
