I have never had the pleasure of going to the mall in Lima. If i were to get there around say... 8 or 9, which entrance (if there are multiple) should I line up at to make sure no one sneaks in ahead of me. If Im getting there that early, that means im leaving C-bus prior too 7am, which is hard to make the wife do (becasue she HAS to come....LOL), want to make sure that the early drive/long wait is justified, or if i should just show up at 10am.

Thanks again for all of the help buckey and carpenter!!

Okay, We just spoke to the mall manager.... Sunday the mall opens at 11:00 for the walkers... not 10:00. I am sorry for the mixup. You want to enter in the Macy's Concourse. The time you leave is your choice... I look for a large crowd to show up. If you are the first there just start a line at the Team Shop entrance. We will start selling tickets as soon as we get everything put together. Then we will move you to another line for paid customers. I think this system is going to work out great.
Go Bucks and I will see you there.

With these new ones (really, the one on the 25th at Polaris), I may not go to Lima this weekend. Bad snow, etc.

Suppose to be just flurries Sunday. But I'm not the one driving the distance... I am coming from Indian Lake Approx.
1 hour for me.

Weather permitting, I will still go to Lima this weekend. Look for me, I'll be there early in a White #2, carrying a white #33, with a wife and possibly father-in-law (apparently this has turned into a family gathering)

Went to quite a few signing two years ago at the Lima Mall. Then they were all on Saturday mornings and I averaged getting there 1 1/2 to 2 hrs ahead of time. This was for Ginn, Pittman, and Archie as the headliners (three different groups). Each one I was no more than 1/2 hour to get to the front of the line and get my items signed. Ginn was the longest line i was in and even then I was right at a 1/2 hour. If this signing starts at 2, I would think you should be fine planning to get there around 11-12 if you want to be towards the front. I think I will likely head up there around 12.

Here is a little trick I've learned over the years doing signings. I used to go 2 hours early wait for hours and get the graph. Well one time I ran late showed up 30 min before the end of the signing. I spent 20 minitues total got the graph and left saved a ton of time. I have done the same thing to every single pay signing I have gone too and have been fine. I have never seen a promoter turn away a paying customer. I personally think getting there 5 hours early and staning there to pay is a huge waste of time with no benefit. I also hope these signings do the pictures properly if not they waste so much time as well. Personally I think they should charge for pics with the players. Takes 3 times as long to pose for a pic then sign a item

Well, that is why most places don't allow signings during the show, because of the extra time it takes. But I don't think they should charge for pictures, just not allow them until after the show is over.

either way is fine by me. It just drives me nut's when someone gets a item signed then takes 2 minutes to take one picture and they dont charge for that. But then if you want them to add Go Bucks to your item they chagre you 15 bucks for that 10 second inscription. Drives me crazy.

Be a signing cordinator and after you have said twenty times prior to the signing no pictures.. and people still try and do it.... Its frustrating!!
Its called a Signing.... Not a Photo Shoot..Now if there is time after the signing and the athlete is willing to take a few photos then so be it. Actually have had a few players stick around afterwards.
Thanks,
Bucky
