thanks man, do u know if they will be selling 8x10s or anything?!?

Cardboard heroes always has photos, minis, and usually full-sized helmets also. Sometimes they have jerseys, sometimes they don't. For Eddie, I'd get there early...when he signed at CH at Tuttle a few years ago, the line was huge and they sold out of some of their merchandise.

Yeah, they always have pics and other good memorabilia there to buy worthy of getting a sig on.

As far as getting there early, they are doing pre-sale tickets...meaning they will only sell a certain number of signatures for EG to do in the 2 hour period that he'll be there. If they sell out before the actual day of the autograph session comes, then that's it. Then Unfortuneately even if you show up 5 hours before he gets there you won't get a sig. You have to have a ticket.

I bought mine over the phone and they will hold it in store for me until the day of the signing. Then it's just a matter of whether I want to go early and get through early or get there whenever (within the signing period) because my ticket guarentees me an autograph.

P.S.: Media Day

Anyone know whether it will be open to the public this year, or if there will be a Team Autograph session after pictures like last year? (i think it was in the French Field House)

Doug Datish, Quinn Pitcock, Troy Smith and Jim Tresssel all signed for free before the Big Ten luncheon this Wednesday morning in Chicago.

That session was available to everyone, a ticket to the luncheon was not needed.

BB73 did you go, and how packed was it?

Yes I went, check the front page. :wink2:

I got there around 9:45, and there were 11 tables in the room, one for each Big Ten team. At the time, there were between zero and 5 people in front of 10 of the tables, but I was about 30th in line for the Buckeyes! I went through the line twice; Coach Tressel was there the second time, and they were enforcing the "one item per person" rule, but JT and the 3 players would all sign whatever anybody had. JT was sitting at one end of the table, and actually posed for a picture with some people as they reached the front of the line.

There was a small area selling very limited Big Ten souvenirs (conference t-shirts, mini-helmets for each team). Anyone can guess which of the mini-helmets sold out first.

The Iowa line had a couple dozen people in it when I looked later, and the Penn State line ended up being pretty long. There was little activity for most of the other teams, including scUM.

I shook hands and said hello to AD Gene Smith (he was very gracious), since he was in the area and off-and-on his cell phone, probably finalizing that tOSU-Oklahoma football series. :wink2:

I also shook hands with Pat Fitzgerald, the new Northwestern coach (my son goes there, but he wasn't with me).
