Whatever it is, he will have to stay healthy and wait 4 years to get it. This kid will have (roughly) the same money already made no matter where he gets drafted (if he even does). Obviously you see a way this kid actually regrets making 30MM, I just don't see the same way.

I didn't say regrets. I said second guess. $30 mill is a lot. $100 mill is a whole lot more.

Depends on how level headed he is. That $30M after paying an agent/business manager and lawyer ends up being about 24. Take taxes off that, and he's going to net around 16-18. Hire some good wealth managers and follow the 4% rule, and he's set for life. Start buying mansions, supercars, and expensive boats and flying private, and he could Scottie Pippen it all away before he's 30.
