Bryce "L" Underwood (QB ttun, for now)

Human blobfish Biff Poggi said he's Batman. wtf does that mean in the context of football? Is he strong? Say he's Superman. Is he fast? Say he's Flash. How do Batman's skills translate to football? He uses his detective skills to....throw interceptions? He uses his gadgets to help......overthrow 5 yard routes?

Why are they so idiotic in everything they say and do?
More like Robin.

Have seen several write-ups featured, that tell of a Xichigan alum crucifying Underwood as a QB. Anyone read ? Sounds like click-bait. Maybe expectations were a tad high here?
No, It wasn't a TCUN alum, it was Eric Weddle who is a Utah guy. Weddle also has a kid who he wants to be a 4 star QB (kid is more of a running back apparently) but after attending a spring practice, he saw exactly what anyone not being a TCUN kool-aid drinker saw....Underwood sucks, has no fundamentals and hasn't been working hard to fix anything.

Seems like a perfect spot to use one of my favorite gifs. :-)

And I agree with your opinion, man!

Agree to all the above, but folks, that's the nature of college football nowadays. Big bucks to unproven kids, and hope they are worth it. Certainly, it's let's buy them all, and applaud the few that actually rise to the top. Of course you have to have a deep pocket, and not be afraid to use it.

Good point. Ohio State hasn't been burned, yet, by any busts. But have we had any busts, recently?

Interesting piece to the thread. What defines a 'bust'? Not living up to expectations? According to the Buckeye fanatics, losing any game, or not winning the national championship by definition is a 'bust'. Agree that when you pay these dudes piles of money to come aboard for junior/senior/grad year, and they don't start, make 100 tackles or catch 70 passes or run for a zillion yards, then they might qualify. My truth be told, if a guy comes aboard, and doesn't start, not get significant minutes, nor perform (the above part of this thread might be a tad overstated), then maybe. Guess it amounts to expectations. The LT from Rice was VHT, and couldn't crack the two-deep. Yet he got drafted by the pros...rereading this, appears I'm rambling, so will close. But we all look at these kids, probably more highly paid than the kids that have slogged through for three+ years, and if they don't walk on water, then....
