Browns fans- Who do you want to draft?

I like that idea, especially if it could net us another 2nd or 3rd round pick. I'm one of the few around here that actually likes Greenway, but if we could trade down a few spots and get Carp, I'd be overjoyed.

I liked Greenway. But his combine numbers really disturb me.

I know you don't need to run a 4.5, or rep it 30 times to be a stud linebacker. But it just doesn't look like the guy put a lot of effort into getting ready for the combine. His stock definately should drop unless he can pull something outta his ass on Iowa's pro-day.

Wait til Bobby C blows everyone away at pro day. He's going to raise his draft stock significantly.

Hopefully that stock rises high enough for the Browns to pick him at #12. I LOVE the way Bobby plays, and if there is a definition of "heart" in a player, you need look no further than watching him hobble out on crutches to cheer on his team in THE GAME. He WILL be a stud in the pros.

The Bengals better hope they don't need any help at quarterback.

I, for one, don't panic at a bad combine performance, nor do I proclaim someone as the second-coming when he puts up a higher-than-expected 40 time. I've liked Greenway's game for a couple of years now, and I would be happy if the Browns drafted if players like Ngata were already off the board.

That being said, if the Browns traded down and were still able to nab Carpenter, I would be ecstatic.

LB is defintiely our top need... I'd prefer Ryans to Greenway, really. He's got more of a playmaking abilility that he demonstrated a lot in Alabama- not the greatest combine performance, but the playmaking is what we need.

Sure, I'd love Hawk or Bobby. So would Crennel (it's in an ESPN article... but, there's no way we'd move up to get him). Aside from LB, I could deal with a Winston Justice to shore up our line.

If they think Winston Justice can be the starting LT now and for years to come he would be a good pick. Now that the CBA didn't get extended there are going to be a lot of good players out there who are going to have to take less money than they want to be making with the Browns having a lot of money to sign them. If Savage plays this right he can probably fill several holes for a few years for a good price.

With Arrington buying out his contract with the Redskins. What would you guys think about filling the need at LB with him, and going elsewhere in the draft?

I don't think Arrington is the player he was before the injuries, and on top of that he has a rep as a bit of a headcase. I don't think he's the kind of guy RAC and Savage want.
