when i was playing high school ball, some teams just pissed you off if they breathed.

so we’d have pregame conversations like
“who the fuck these assholes think they are, all stretching and warming up and stuff?”
or
“look at these cocksuckers walking around like it’s a free country”
or
“is that dipshit really enjoying the pregame music?!!?”

I’ve always views it as akin to hitting the goaltender in the NHL. I’ve seen international games where a European forward bumps a goaltender and North American teams pounce and they’re like WTF?
