I give up. This board is too hard to understand.
Just saw on the ESPN ticker that Favre will make a decision by Saturday.

that makes sense....Deety said:I think that there was a "non-binding request" made that he decide by then, unless it's changed in the last few hours. Quickly - to the Googlemobile!
Not sure "Tell us on April Fool's Day" was the bet strategy...
The only good thing that Thompson has done so far was re-sign Kampman. Diggs is gone, Longwell is gone, but they re-sign Green... not the best choices.Deety said:Just a meeting so far... not sure if it has happened yet... but he is talking to several teams, and the consensus seems to be that we'll offer the least $$$$. Dunno. There's a whole "Packers Held Hostage" watch going on up here, but thankfully they're now framing Ted Thompson as the villian (due to his free-agency choices) rather than Brett.

Granted I don't follow the Packers like I follow the Buckeyes... but it seems so far, Ted Thompson has hired a head coach who doesn't excite the fans, who has hired other coaches who don't excite the fans, and topped it off with less-than-exciting choices in free agency. I guess you have to hope he's a brilliant long-term builder. The only good thing that Thompson has done so far was re-sign Kampman. I love Brett Favre the player, but he's making an ass out of himself by practically holding the franchise hostage.
