Have they already written off Aaron Rogers?
Who will they look to if Brett does call it quits? Veteran FA?
I would think they would go after some sort of vet. I don't think they would have given up on Rodgers totallly yet. That would be a pretty high picked to totally give up on him already without even giving him a shot.

Quarterback may be forced to make decision on future by March 8
Brett Favre may be forced to make a decision on his future in football within the next week. For now, however, he is still unsure of what he wants to do – play another season or retire from football.
"I wish I would wake up and know," Favre said in an ESPN interview on Tuesday. "I was telling my mom several days ago when she was asking me the same question - 'You know, when are you going to make up your mind?' - I wish I would wake up and say, 'What have you been waiting on? It's a clear-cut decision.'
"I mean, there's more things involved. I love to play the game but I want to compete at a high level. I'd like to know our team is going to compete at a high level. Just kind of ... you know, gut instinct hasn't told me anything yet."
Favre, 36, is due a $3 million roster bonus on March 8. Favre’s agent, Bus Cook, told reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine that his client might consider pushing back the due date for the roster bonus to give himself more time to think about whether he wants to return for a 16th NFL season. But the Packers might not be willing to move the date, wanting instead for Favre to make up his mind.
"In some ways, I'm kind of waiting to see what we do free agent-wise and in the draft and those things," Favre said in Homestead, Fla., where he was taking NASCAR driving lessons. "And they're probably kind of waiting on me, too. So it's a little bit of a waiting game. Right now, I'm just trying to get away from it as much as I can and clear my mind, as hard as that may be."
The free-agency period is scheduled to begin Friday, although the uncertainty in negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and the players association could delay it. However, the league said it would not extend Friday's deadline after talks stalled with the NFLPA Tuesday.
The draft, in which the Packers hold the No. 5 overall pick, is April 29 and 30.
Favre is coming off his worst season as a pro. He was intercepted a career-high 29 times and finished with a career-low passer rating of 70.9.
Hold told a Milwaukee television station this week that he has no desire to play for another team.
“It doesn’t even cross my mind,” Favre said. “I just can’t envision myself playing anywhere else.”
